When you make a purchase in our store, you are required to make a user account so that you can have access to the order information and access any of your digital downloads.
When you purchase a digital download, an email will be provided which includes a link to access your product. You can also log in to “Your Account” and access the download link. You do have a limited number of times allocated to download a file and the remaining number of downloads can be accessed in “Your Account”.
I have personally used the Android program Aldiko to read EPUB format books. I have also used the Sony Reader Library on a PC. I have used Calibre on a PC as well. And I can confirm that they will work on an Apple iPad. There are many other EPUB capable readers.
Using Aldiko on an Android device, I was able to download the EPUB file directly from the download link available in “Your Account” onto the device. Aldiko automatically recognized the EPUB file and imported it to my “Bookshelf”. It is also possible to import an EPUB file that you upload to the device by following the procedure provided by Aldiko.
For the Sony Reader Library, I was again able to download the EPUB file directly from the download link available in “Your Account” onto my PC. My PC recognized the EPUB file as a Sony Reader Library file. When I double clicked the file, the Sony Reader Library program launched and imported the book. I was then able to read the book on my PC via the Sony Reader Library.
For the iPad, I was able to download the EPUB file from the download link available in “Your Account” onto my PC. I added the digital book file to iTunes. I was then able to sync the book to the iPad via iTunes. This allowed me to use iBooks to read the book on the iPad.
Here is a sample of an EPUB document: airplane-flying-handbook-sample-1.0.epub. You can use this sample document to test your reader’s compatibility with the EPUB format.
